Do credits expire?+
No. Credits you purchase never expire. Use them at your own pace.
What happens when I run out of credits?+
OTP send requests will fail with an INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS error. Your application receives a clear error code so you can handle it gracefully. Top up at any time from the console.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes — test mode is always free. With test mode API keys (sk_test_…), no real SMS is sent and no credits are deducted. The response shape is identical to live mode, so you can fully integrate before spending anything.
How does test mode work?+
Any API key prefixed with sk_test_ is in test mode. Requests are validated and processed exactly as live requests, but the SMS is intercepted by a null provider — nothing goes out, and credits are not consumed. Switch to a live key (sk_live_…) to send real messages.
Are there international SMS rates?+
The prices shown are for Malaysian (+60) numbers. International numbers may incur additional carrier costs. Contact us for international pricing.
Do you support bulk sending?+
TACNow is designed for transactional OTP messages, not bulk campaigns. Per-project rate limits apply (configurable from 1 to 1,000 per minute). For bulk volumes, contact us about a partnership arrangement.
